November 5, 2018 – The Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA) awarded Mueller Homes the Award of Excellence at its annual Remodeling and Custom Building Awards ceremony on November 1st at the Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland.  This was one of two awards received by Mueller Homes, from the MBIA, this year.Maryland Building Industry Association logo

The Award of Excellence was received in the category of Custom Home: $1 Million – $1.25 Million for the Manor at Holly Hills project completed in Ijamsville, MD in Winter 2018.  An evaluation team that consisted of building industry professionals from around the Baltimore Metropolitan area rated all entries. The criteria used to judge the entries included: quality of construction, degree of difficulty, value and cost effectiveness and unique and creative design approach.

The home is located in The Manor at Holly Hills which is an exclusive community of luxury homes in Ijamsville, Maryland.  Mueller Homes worked collaboratively with the client’s architect, Caddworks, to finalize the design plans and construction drawings.

The home was thoughtfully designed for a busy family that also likes to entertain.  “A spacious floorplan was complemented by rustic floors, exposed wood beams, and custom handcrafted woodwork that really made the home’s modern farmhouse design a winner,” commented Paul Mueller, Jr.   A complete photo portfolio of the project can be viewed here.
